TIME ESCAPE has been Alessio's first band. They played a nice and interesting mix of Rock (think about RUSH of Signals, Grace Under Pressure or Hold Your Fire - and YES of 90125 and Big Generator), Fusion and FRANK ZAPPA's music of the Eighties.
The band has been active from 1985 to 1991, releasing three demo tapes (two official - "DEMO 1987" and "DEMO 1991", and one unofficial - "DEMO 1989"), two singles ("LIGHTIME" in 1987 and "SKOLOPENDRA" in 1988), a compilation appearance ("NOT JUST SPAGHETTI AND MANDOLINI" in 1989 with the tune "WAITING FOR THE CHANGE") and six unofficial videos (two live performances in 1987, "DEMO 1987 - THE STUDIO SESSION", a 1987 rehearsal session, "WAITING FOR THE CHANGE - THE STUDIO SESSION" in 1989 and "LIVE AT FLOG" in 1994), obtaining very good articles and reviews in and outside Italy.
I TIME ESCAPE sono stati il primo gruppo in cui Alessio ha militato. La loro musica era un personale e coinvolgente mix di Rock (sulla falsariga dei RUSH di Signals, Grace Under Pressure or Hold Your Fire - e degli Yes di 90125 and Big Generator), di Fusion e della musica di FRANK ZAPPA degli anni Ottanta.
